About Lab Ready

Lab Ready Workforce LLC was founded in 2025 in Central Pennsylvania to create fast, practical pathways into high-demand lab careers for recent high school graduates. Through hands-on training and career-ready skills, our Lab Technician Accelerator helps learners build real opportunities in biotech, materials science, food manufacturing and related fields. We work closely with employers, educators, and workforce organizations to ensure our graduates are job-ready and positioned for long-term growth.

Our work is supported by an experienced and engaged Advisory Board that include leaders from business, education and the community. They provide ongoing guidance in curriculum development, industry alignment, program evaluation, and outreach.

Lab Ready was created by working professionals and social entrepreneurs who believe in building real solutions for local workforce gaps. Our cofounders are: 

• Prof. Kristi Kneas has spent more than two decades teaching college chemistry and leading academic programs.

• W. Henry Yaeger is a strategy consultant and investor with experience scaling startups and leading teams at Fortune 500 companies.
